Story

This was painted in July during a nice heat wave. I was getting ready to fly to NY and remembered all the sweltering summers there. Rose gold, magenta, and permanent yellow drips with accents of black detailing another layer of splatter marks. It's bold, beautiful, aggressive, and slightly comical... an ode to a hot city summer.
